only adhere to the regulations from our partnering agencies, but we strive to put in policies that promote the highest quality of care.
No, we do not require any specific immunization. However, we do require all children to
have a complete vaccine record or an immunization exemption form on file.
We are closed on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and
the day after Christmas. Each year we also have scheduled professional development days and parent teacher conferences that we will be closed on. Those dates are different each year. We communicate with parents when those dates will be at the beginning of the year.
All meals and snacks will be provided and included in the fees when your child is
attending our program. We work hard to provide home cooked, well balanced, and
nutritious meals. We choose organic produce and meats when possible and limit
processed foods. A meal schedule will be provided weekly. We serve breakfast, lunch,
and an afternoon snack every single day. The Garden participates in Idahoʼs Child and
Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
At The Garden, we use Experience Early Learning curriculum. Activities are based on proven early childhood research to promote cognitive, physical and social-emotional development. Every material and activity is designed to support preschooler's, toddler's and infant's development, meeting them where they are and helping them grow with confidence. In addition, we take great pride in creating age appropriate, stimulating activities for all the children in our program. Each day we will provide the opportunity for outdoor play, story time, art/sensory time, and rest time. Making each day a day where your child will learn through play!
